Tipiliuke Lodge is located on the Estancia Cerro de los Pinos (over 50,000 acres) owned by the Larminat family. This five-star lodge is recognized as being one of the finest in the world. It is distinguished for it’s all around service, accommodation, and food as well as having over nine-miles of the Chimehuín River. In addition to the Chimehuín, there is also a large stretch of the Quilquihue River running through the ranch. Tipiliuke is one of the best choices for wading and the longest drive to the river from the lodge is less than ten minutes. This lodge takes sixteen guests but only twelve rods are allowed at any time. Tipiliuke is well located for non-fishermen being only a twenty-five minute drive away from the town of San Martín de los Andes, making a visit into town a very pleasant morning or afternoon trip. Tipiliuke is one of the best options for the non-fishing guest offering horseback riding, trekking, bird watching and other activities as well as a sauna and masseuse. Its close proximity to the Chapelco Golf Resort makes golfing at one of the best Jack Nicklaus designed golf course in South America possible as well.
