EXPLORE TRIPS WITH PRG

The No.1 Outfitter in Argentina

Patagonia River Guides

With over ten unique lodging options across Patagonia’s top three regions—Esquel, Rio Pico, and San Martin de los Andes—PRG offers the most comprehensive and customizable fishing programs in the country. Trips range from three days to three weeks and are tailored to your style, skill, and goals.

Fish diverse waters daily: wade freestone streams, float scenic rivers, stalk spring creeks, or explore still waters in search of trophy trout. The variety, scenery, and quality are unmatched. And with gourmet cuisine, fine wines, and first-class accommodations, every detail is carefully crafted.

Our philosophy is simple: fish the best rivers, at the best times, with the best guides. To make the most of your adventure, we recommend extended stays to explore one, two, or all three of our incredible regions.

Our Rivers & Lakes

One of the most unique aspects of Patagonia Argentina are its stunning landscapes and geographical diversities.

At Patagonia River Guides, we focus on fishing three very productive and diverse regions: Trevelin & Esquel (access to Los Alerces National Park), Rio Pico, and San Martin de los Andes. Each region we fish showcases a different and beautiful side of Argentina, but one thing they all have in common is the world-class trout fishing.

About Us

Our Guides

PRG guides are without a doubt the most professional, experienced fly fishing guides in Patagonia. Over half of our guides have been with us since the beginning and have grown with us over the years. All PRG guides are fluent in English and are excellent teachers. No matter what skill level angler, they can get you on the water catching fish in no time. They are the backbone of this fishing program and business and we can’t be more proud to have them!

Best Times

When to Come

We always tell guests that there is no “best time” to visit us in Argentina. Our programs are so diverse that we are able to adapt throughout the season and always provide the best experience imaginable. If you would like to experience our Cast & Blast Program, you do need to look at Fall dates from March through May. If you are a wine lover, you might want to consider joining us in the Fall as well for our annual harvest (typically in April).
