So, what is PRG Unplugged? Simply put, it’s the most comprehensive camping/fishing program in Patagonia. PRG North offers exceptional overnight camping trips on area rivers such as the Limay, Chimehuín, and Aluminé. Guests enjoy long days – set to their schedule – and incredible fishing on remote area rivers. In addition to oversized cots and tents, our camps come with a professional chef to prepare delicious meals, hot pressurized water for showers, bathroom facilities, unique 12-volt lighting system, wall tent for dining, and hundreds of thousands of acres of wilderness. The PRG Unplugged program is offered throughout the entire fishing season! For those that love to stargaze, there is no better way to experience the night sky of the southern hemisphere! Camping is the highlight of most trips, and for those who like to fish a few more hours or skip the chit chat at the lodges, this is the perfect opportunity to be away from it all. Each day, our assistants pack up, move, and reassemble the camp in a new location. Everything is ready for clients’ arrival including hot showers, crackling fire, snacks, and a full bar. Fruit, cereals, and eggs to order are ready for breakfast before guests grab their rods and throw their first casts from our drift boats.

We looked long and hard for a high-end chef that could handle the stress of delivering unforgettable meals on these rivers we camp. Our chef Tato is exceptionally talented and equally as fun to chat with around the fire at night. Breakfast is simple with a variety of fruits, cereals, granola and cooked to order eggs with coffee and tea. A hot riverside lunch will keep you going through the fishing day and keep you satisfied until dinner. As you step out of the drift boat, appetizers and drinks will be waiting for you while our chef Tato prepares a delicious meal for guests to enjoy in the wall tent dining room. Each unplugged campsite features a full bar so you can enjoy your favorite drink after a long day of fishing. We always pack ice so that the cocktail of your choice will be as cold as it can get!

Comfort
We take everything you love about camping and step it up a notch to make sure that you are as comfortable as possible. We have worked hard to make sure that a hot shower and bathroom are available for our guests. The shower itself is equipped with a state of the art gas water heater and twelve-volt pump so the water is actually hot and pressurized! To ensure a great nights rest, we have very spatious 8 man tents that are prepared for one or two guests. Guests can expect oversized cots, fresh sheets to sleep in and plenty of light in each tent at night. We have skipped no detail to make sure you are as comfortable as can be!
