WELCOME TO THE RIVER HOUSE
The River House Lodge is a centrally located, upscale lodge located on the Chimehuin River just 25 minutes from the airport and towns of Junin and San Martin de los Andes. The lodge is located on the banks of the Chimehuin river in between some of the most iconic Estancias in Neuquen Province. The River House management has decades of experience in the hospitality world having thrived at lodges like Tipiliuke Lodge in the same general area and Kau Tapen lodge in Tierra del Fuego, guaranteeing a very high level of service, excellent food, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Guests at The River House Lodge enjoy the luxury of high end service while being in a smaller boutique lodge, offering a quiet and relaxing atmosphere with a comprehensive array of amenities.
The 9,000 square foot lodge was totally remodeled in 2021 and can accommodate up to ten guests in five spacious double occupancy suites, all with private baths. The lodge is tastefully decorated in Argentina country style and offers high end amenities that can be noticed around every corner. There are many nooks and inviting spaces, inside and outside of the lodge, allowing groups and couples to spread out and enjoy the lodge as well as the beautiful Patagonia scenery. Highlights include a magnificent great room with a huge fireplace, cozy bar and lounge, outside fireplace and sitting areas in the exquisite gardens overlooking a fish-filled side channel of the Chimehuin.
The River House is an ideal option for non-anglers due to the privacy, coziness, and atmosphere of the lodge. Non-anglers enjoy all of the non-angling activities provided by The River House and PRG North, such as horseback riding, hiking and the use of the newly built spa, featuring a wonderful massage room, a hot tub and sauna, and an ample space for exercising or practicing Yoga. And because the River House is just a short drive to San Martin de los Andes, day trips into town can easily be arranged.
