WELCOME TO TIPILIUKE
Tipiliuke Lodge is located on the Estancia Cerro de los Pinos (over 50,000 acres) owned by the Larminat family. This five-star lodge is recognized as being one of the finest in the world. It is distinguished for it’s all around service, accommodation, and food as well as having nine-miles of access to the Chimehuín River. In addition to the Chimehuín, there is a large stretch of the Quilquihue River running through the ranch. Tipiliuke is one of the best choices for wading and the longest drive to the river from the lodge is less than fifteen minutes. Rarely full, the lodge accommodates sixteen guests and has a twelve rod limit each day. Tipiluke is located just fifteen minutes from the airport and twenty five minutes from the town of San Martin de Los Andes, making the drive to either place very convenient. Tipiliuke is one of the best options for the non-fishing guest offering horseback riding, trekking, bird watching, and other activities as well as a wood burning stove sauna, masseuse and hot tub. Visits to town can be arranged on a moment’s notice, and make for a very pleasant morning or afternoon trip. Its close proximity to the Chapelco Golf Resort makes golfing at one of the best Jack Nicklaus designed golf courses in South America possible as well.

Authentic Experience
This property is a crown jewel of Argentina. The location is beautiful, convenient and there is plenty of private water access. The estancia is home to over 4,000 cattle so you are likely going to see gauchos working cattle and riding horses. Gauchos still work in old buildings and barns built years ago. Guests are welcome to take hikes and walks around the property to see the beautiful sights the estancia has to offer. Tipiluke means “upside down heart” in the traditional Mapuche language, hikes to Tipiluke mountain can be arranged and you can see for yourself!
